Cedar Valley Corp. was honored with a Gold Award at the 20th Annual ACPA Excellence in Concrete Pavement Convention, held December 4th, 2009. Awards honor quality concrete pavements constructed in the United States and Canada each year. This year's winner was for our Highway 34 project in Creston, Iowa.

This project involved reconstructing U.S. Highway 34 through Creston in an area where detours were not feasible. By staging the 49' back to back paving one-half at a time, traffic was maintained and dozens of restaurants, retail stores and residential homes were allowed continuous access.
