Cedar Valley Corp., LLC received the 2012 Bravo Award in January 2013 from the Associated General Contractors of Iowa. The Bravo Award is given to firms who "are involved in improving the quality of life in their community and who project a positive image for the construction industry through contributions." Cedar Valley Corp., LLC is one of only a few organizations that have achieved this prestigious award most every year since the award's inception. Cedar Valley Corp., LLC was first recognized for 2001 and every consecutive year since. The Bravo Award is awarded in recognition of a company's substantial contribution to Iowa through community service and philanthropy, and for serving as a leading example of corporate responsiveness on the part of the construction industry.

The company has supported the AGC of Iowa Foundation, the AGC of America Education and Research Foundation, Iowa State University, Honor Flight Dubuque, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Hawkeye Community College, City of Jesup, Camp Foster YMCA, Waverly Pet Rescue, Greater Cedar Valley Alliance, Iowa City Hospice, ALS Association Iowa Chapter, the Community Foundation of Waterloo-Cedar Falls and Northeast Iowa, and the Junior League of Waterloo/Cedar Falls. More than 30 additional organizations benefited as a result of CVC's annual donation to the Community Foundation of Waterloo-Cedar Falls & Northeast Iowa. Cedar Valley Corp., LLC employees also adopted several local families in need over the holiday season, donating food items at Thanksgiving and Christmas and purchasing Christmas gifts.

The Associated General Contractors of Iowa Bravo Awards program was initiated in 2000 to recognize those member firms who are involved in improving the quality of life in their community and who project a positive image for the construction industry through contributions of funds, labor,  materials, equipment and leadership. In many communities throughout the state, our members are leading corporate citizens, and with this comes a degree of responsibility for philanthropy. The members honored with Bravo Awards go the extra mile to try to improve the quality of life in their communities through contributions of cash, labor, materials, equipment and project management. Benefactors include community and recreation centers, youth organizations, schools and colleges,  charitable organizations, health service groups, and many more. The Bravo Award is the highest award that the chapter can present to a member company.
