The Iowa Concrete Paving Association hosted the 45th annual Iowa Concrete Paving Association Workshop February 4-6, 2009. Engineers, highway officials, contractors, and consultants gather annually from across the state to exchange information and recognize exceptional construction projects for high quality construction performed in Iowa and completed in 2008. Presentation of the Portland Cement Concrete Paving Awards is the highlight of the event.
Cedar Valley Corp. was honored for five projects rated on smoothness, quality control, general appearance and workmanship, contractor management, safety, and complexity.

Wahpeton Recreational Trail
All five projects were submitted for consideration on the national level, with the US 34 Union County project going on to win in its respective category.
