Cedar Valley Corp. was recognized as a Gold Level Award Winner in recognition of their working partnerships on the US 71 Iowa Great Lakes Project.

The National Partnership for Highway Quality is a groundbreaking partnership of the Federal Highway Administration, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the American Public Works Association, the Foundation for Pavement Preservation, the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies and seven of the nation's leading roadway construction trade associations.  NPHQ defines a quality project as one bringing "all stakeholders to the table - from roadway professionals to local citizens and businesses - to plan, coordinate and carry out a roadway construction or maintenance project so that it delivers the maximum return on the public's investment."
